MCD DN Zone Support |
Select "Use System Time" to use the system time (default) for timestamps in all voice mail messages and auto-attendant greetings. Select "Use DN Time Zone" to use the time zone associated with a voice DN. For mailboxes, the DN is the extension of the mailbox. For auto attendants, it is the called number that is routed to the voice mail hunt group number. For example, when an EDHU and its host switch are in different time zones, select "Using Time Zones" to have timestamps in messages in the EDHU reflect its local time and not that of the host switch. NOTE: For hot desk users, the Zone ID that is first used (normally the zone id of the device that is used) determines the time zone. If you are normally a hot desk user in New York and the system is in Los Angeles, you will get the offset time for New York no matter where you are (even if you are logged in Los Angeles). |
